So about a week ago, I got a Bryston 4B out of the trash at a friends office.. It had a big sticker NG on it.. no good. Or so I thought… After taking apart, making some xlr to rca adapters to test.. and changing out a fuse on the inisde of the unit.. and fiddling with the power cord the unit just came back to life! 300watts or so per channel, two channels, all for about $0.20 in one fuse! Not bad! considering they go for 900usd+ on ebay… Pictures coming soon

All I can say about my new 30D. Just amazing.. The interface is about the same as the 20D, but the lcd on the back, and the sound of the shutter just look/sound so good. The screen is the big difference. Great colors, does not washout even in full light (my 350D screen was USELESS in the sun). More pictures to come soon…

Well I upgraded cameras the other day.. I now own a Canon 30D. And all I can say is WOW.. Compared to my 350D.. well I can’t. Focusing for me is now a easy. Always had a hardtime with the 350D, I do miss the power switch location on the 350D. But besides that and the weight gain.. I’m very happy to be on a 30D. I needed to replace my 4 year old desktop so here it is… The BEAST… Dual Core P4 2.8ghz, 2gigs ram, 250gig sata2 (i have a storage array for real data), ati radeaon x1600 512mb…. Dual 19 widescreen monitors…

Repeater controller is currently in wirewrap prototyping stage, will post some pictures once it is done. Also decided to get started on my DSO this week. Will setup a page for that project as I write stuff down. But you should check out my photoblog while your here…
